So, the pre orders are now live and the new Age of sigmar Generals Handbook will be with us soon...
Lots of things to look forward to and interesting rules changes. Is it going to be the year of infantry or shooting?
From the initial changes in the terrain rules there looks to be a lot of shooting army Generals that feel it will negativity impact them.
So what is this all about?
The new rule says that if a non monster or flying unit is within an inch of obscuring terrain it is obscured., so cannot be seen by ranged attacks.
This renders shooting armies powerless against those that are using the trlerrain in this advantageous way .
For those who were thinking put some shooting units into obscuring terrain and shoot those would be attackers before they get to you..... well your range is halved. Your enemy will typically be upon you before you get much of a chance to shoot them.
This is looking more like an era for the infantry line. Standing your ground and sending forth your forces to try to claim objectives using their steel and brute force.
Interesting times lay ahead.
